The Merry Go Round

From time to time, I occasionally go help out at another one of our offices. It seems like every time I go there is a red robin that constantly runs into the window. It’s been almost a year since I’ve been there and as I was sitting there I heard a loud thump. There was that red robin again running himself into the window. You would think that after that long period of time, he would have learned by now, but they say that he does it every day. I said to myself, doesn’t that hurt. I’m surprised he hasn’t broken something because he would hit the glass so hard that it would startle you. After awhile, you would ignore it. But you would notice when he stopped and when he started again. We would all say there goes that red robin again. Have you ever found yourself going in circles as if on a Merry Go Round? You seem to end up in the same place, but only a new scenery. Seems like the same relationship but only a different face. You kicked the last habit, but only to pick up another one that put you back in the same place of the habit that you just kicked. What about when you get into a particular place and it feels like deja vu. It seems like I have been here before. Round and round you go…Where you end up nobody knows. The fact of the matter is, you don’t have to continue in those repeated cycles of your life. Only you can stop the cycle. Sometimes we have to get sick and tired of being sick and tired. You can’t shift the blame on others, the change begins in us. They say we attract what we are, so what is in you that keeps attracting negative energy or keeps you going through those same patterns. We have to be willing to do some soul-searching and some self-evaluation and see what in us do we need to change or stop. The power is within us to determine how to stop the merry-go-round, but we have to be willing to get off and not get back on again. #CLEANTHISHOUSE
